“Last year, $1.5 Trillion was spent on Digital Transformation efforts and according to World Economic Forum only 1% of those initiatives are going to reach their goals.” Professor Marek Kowalkiewicz’s opening line of his keynote address at the QUT Chair in Digital Economy’s event, Government 5.0: the future of public services.
The event explored the evolution of public service transformation and unpacked six key trends that will impact the future of transformation within the public sector. Marek’s keynote was followed by three panels exploring capability building, impact, the important role of partnerships, and policy making in the digital-age.
